Our buddy Matt is an amazing film maker. His videos are so visually enticing and musically captivating that you can't help but get lost in them.
He joined us last year at Federation Forest and at Bumping Lake - then produced videos that told more of a fantasy/surreal story of our trips. We were lucky enough to have Matt join us on the Beltane trip last week, and again he made a wonderfully moving video. But this time it's deeper, bigger, and more in tune to the world we live in.
I recommend watching the video, and when you recover, watch it again. It is a very inspiring piece of art and I hope it's shared the world over.

I have only watched his video about a dozen times now. It is beautiful! His work is truly inspirational - as is yours. Happy travels.

It's fun watching the different video viewpoints--the ScenicBoys, Ranger Michael's and Matt's mesmerizing variation (not sure how many times I've watched it now). But what I'm waiting for is Tonka's video of the ScenicBoys experience. Do they make tiny kitty-sized video cams?

What a truly beautiful homage...
I'm rarely touched or inspired by the countless films floating around on the web, but this one stands apart as different.
Your friend has a gift.
Please pass on my gratitude in his sharing it with others.

Amazing clarity of thought. Please accept the sincere appreciation of a 66 y/o married closeted bi. If only I could be young again in today's society. Blessing upon each of you who appeared in the video. Wishes for a long and HAPPY life.

Wow! So much tells us that we are wrong, yet to look at those images proves we are right! Loyalty, love, friendship. How could these things not benefit our planet?

Brilliant. Just brilliant. Those preachers are abusing children just by their words.

As a TV Production Manager, I have seen MANY productions similar to this. This once made my hair stand on end. He has great story telling talent. You can tell him he's going to go far! Bravo...

Brilliant. However, it moved me to sadness by the Religious Right (spelled "W-r-o-n-g") and their diatribe and how much further you have to come to realize and enjoy your freedoms. Well done Matt. You guys rock. A gay Canadian.

Wow Matt, that was amazing. It showed the classic conflict between two very passionate groups, that's been going on for centuries. However, I do want to put in a bit of a plug - I'm a strong Christian (not necessarily with traditional views on some of these issues), and I know many clergy and fellow Christians that are very strong GLBTQ allies.
I've been reading this blog for about a year, and it's amazing. Dusty and Garet, if you're ever camping in Southern Alberta give me a shout!
Peace Everyone,
TW

wow---I, too, was very moved by this truly special video. The twisted views expessed by these maniacs just chill me to the bone. They have no souls.
