Arizona Road Trip Video - Part 4

The finale of our Arizona Adventure mini-series, featuring the Coronado Forest, Saguaro Wilderness, and who can forget... the Phoenix Airport. 
Our week in Arizona easily turned into the trip of a lifetime.  So much so that we've discussed making it our home some day.

Arizona Road Trip Video - Part 3

Leaving Sedona heading North, and eventually East, we couldn't help but notice the drastic changes in scenery, altitude, and temperature.  After a long day of driving we finally found a camping spot in the Apache National Forest.  It got down below freezing that night, which was a HUGE surprise to both of us.  We also learned what might seem like a straight shot on the Trusty Road Atlas can easily be mistaken for hours of winding, twisting nauseating highway. :)  At long last the Interstate was found.  Our next stop: Colossal Cave.

Arizona Road Trip Video - Part 2

The second part of our AZ trip completely blew us away. Growing up we both had seen pictures of the mighty red rock monoliths in Sedona. But there is nothing like driving down the highway, coming around a corner and Bam! Huge, red mounds of earth jetting into the sky. As if someone had picked them up from another planet and dropped them there.
Sedona was probably the highlight of our trip. We really can't wait to go back.

Our last Big camping adventure of '07 was back in November; we week of road tripping, backpacking and exploring Arizona. This is the first video in 4 part ScenicBoys' mini series. We're hoping we'll have the next chapter up in a few days.
