Back in August we spent most of our free-time preparing for Burning Man. Between tower pre-fabrication, costume design, and coordinating logistics with our friends, we hardly had any time to get away into the mountains. Since camping takes priority to just about everything else, the Scenic Boys did manage to squeeze in one more night of sleeping outside before the end of summer.
Near my hometown of Ellensburg, where we were building the Burning Man tower, is Washington's prime area for Rock Hounding. Beautiful blue, gray and pink agates along with purple and white quartz crystals lay waiting for treasure hunters to discover.
The weather wasn't warm enough for our usual rompin' through the woods naked, but we did have a fun time looking at rocks and enjoying our time together.
